NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS IN THE ALGARVE
New Year celebrations in the Algarve have been increasing in popularity each year. The beautiful scenery in Algarve coast enhances the celebrations making New Years one of the most memorable nights of the year.
There are parties and celebrations everywhere, including the largest and perhaps most popular in Albufeira. A
giant stage is set up in the Fisherman's Beach Square to present two fabulous concerts and starting around 22:30. well-known International and National bands perform. The whole area is filled with spectators, young and old.
At midnight a spectacular Fireworks show, from the top of the escalator on the Fisherman’s Beach is lit up. This display can be seen for miles around. This area is known as the Belvedere or "Pau da Bandeira",

Faro,Olhão, Tavira, Vilamoura, Quarteira, Monte Gordo, Carvoeiro, Portimao, Lagos. In each of these locations there will be a fireworks show accompanied by concerts and other festivities.
For a more intimate atmosphere, especially for those who prefer to spend the night in a cosy atmosphere, enjoy a sumptuous dinner, followed by lively dances. There are many options.
