The S�o Louren�o Church, also marked on the Almancil FREEMAP is well worth the short trip out of Almancil. The hand painted tiles, dated from the early 1700�s, tell the story of the life of Saint Lawrence. The church is considered one of the finest examples of Baroque art in Portugal.
